A downloadable game
Layla is trapped in a tiny village in Las Hurdes. There's no one to turn to, no one to understand her, and no one to help her escape. Thankfully, there's a small glimmer of hope to her painfully dull life: her best friend and occult enthusiast, Guadalupe, whom she's in love with.
But it's not easy to confess your love. And it's not going to get any easier when Layla's life turns for the stranger the night she meets a girl, Merina, who seems to be the Devil herself... and their lives get intertwined.
Now Layla's got more secrets to keep. And as they pile, and pile, time is running out. If she doesn't let it all out... it might be over for her.
Lanú is a visual novel currently in development! This demo features:
- Around 5k words
- 7 CGs (not counting variations)
- 8 tracks from an original soundtrack
- Slow burn yuri romance
- In both English and Spanish
- Goat
The full visual novel will be around 25k words, fully translated, and feature more CGs and music.

Ahhhh que hermoso ver una VN con Español en estos jams!!! Aunque no soy de España sino de Argentina jaja, pero de todas las VN que he jugado hasta ahora de este jam, Lanú es la que más quiero que siga!
En serio, todas las partes de este juego están tan pulidas y bien hechas. Amo el arte de los sprites, especialmente de Merina, la música es perfecta para cada escena y la presentación del texto me encanta como la hiciste!
Espero que sigas con esto, y realmente no puedo esperar a que salga la versión Full del juego. También me encantó la escena extra al final del capítulo a la onda Higurashi jeje.

What is the code you use to make the text go to the right side? Been trying to do it but to no avail.
I enjoyed the slice of the VN that you have in the demo! There's some very confident and effective use of varied typesetting here, and the whole has such coherent presentation. The committed choice of just a few colours works very nicely. I can't comment on the Spanish text, but I thought the English read well, with a good grip on register and dialect and some well-chosen idioms. (I think there was one line where I might have found toast more natural than toasts, but if that is the level of detail one has to zoom in to to try to give feedback, things are going well!)
If you do take this project forward in future, I'll be interested to see where it goes.
Thank you very much! I was worried about some aspects of the English translation (Merina in particular, since her accent in Spanish doesn't really have a close equivalent in English) so I'm really glad that the translation reads well.
